FAQ

Is RefineAI for creating content from scratch?

No. RefineAI focuses on improving content you already have: cleaning, upscaling, clarifying, and polishing.

What kinds of files can I refine?

It depends on the module and your workflow, but generally:

  • Image: photos, product images, screenshots
  • Video: short-form and long-form video (especially social exports)
  • Audio: voice recordings, podcast tracks, video audio
  • Text: drafts, posts, scripts, emails, docs

Will refinement change the meaning or “voice” of my text?

Text refinement should preserve meaning by default. If you request tone changes (e.g., “more direct”, “more friendly”), expect small shifts. Review before publishing when nuance matters.

What should I expect from image/video upscaling?

Upscaling improves perceived detail and reduces artifacts, but it can’t invent ground-truth detail perfectly. Best results come from reasonably sharp inputs and realistic expectations.

Will audio noise reduction remove background noise completely?

It can reduce noise dramatically, but recordings with heavy reverb, very low signal-to-noise, or overlapping speakers may still have artifacts. Use the Audio workflow to choose the right approach.

How does RefineAI handle privacy?

RefineAI is designed for refinement workflows where privacy matters. See Privacy workflows for operational guidance and risk-reduction steps.
