Quality checklist
Use this before publishing refined outputs. It’s designed to catch the most common “last mile” issues quickly.

Universal checks (all media)
- Does it meet the destination requirements (format, size, length)?
- Does it look/sound/read consistent with the rest of the set?
- Did refinement introduce artifacts that are worse than the original problem?
- Is anything sensitive/private exposed or made more readable? (see Privacy workflows)
Image
- Edges: halos, jagged cutouts, missing fine details (hair/fur/straps)
- Texture: not over-smoothed (“plastic”) or over-sharpened (ringing)
- Gradients: banding and blotches
- Text/logos: legible and not distorted
Video
- Faces: natural texture, no uncanny flicker
- Text overlays: no shimmering/haloing
- Gradients: no blotchy banding in skies/walls
- Motion: no trailing artifacts; fast motion still looks stable
Audio
- Speech: intelligible and comfortable
- Artifacts: no warble/metallic tone/pumping
- Loudness: consistent across the clip
- Background: reduced without sounding dead or gated
Text
- Meaning: preserved; no accidental stronger/weaker claims
- Tone: matches intent and audience
- Correctness: names, numbers, and key terms are correct
- Scanability: headings and bullets are easy to follow
