Use this workflow to polish writing while preserving meaning and voice.

1) Define the constraints

  • Audience (new user, power user, internal team)
  • Tone (direct, friendly, premium, playful)
  • Length target (words, bullets, sections)
  • Must-keep terms and claims

2) Refine for clarity first

  • Improve structure: headings, bullets, short paragraphs
  • Remove redundancy
  • Make assumptions explicit

3) Adjust tone second

  • Ask for 2–3 variants if you’re unsure
  • Ensure meaning and promises remain unchanged

4) Correctness pass

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Names, product terms, and links
  • Any facts you provided (pricing, dates, constraints)

5) Final human review

  • Read aloud (catches awkward phrasing fast)
  • Check for meaning drift
  • Confirm the copy matches your brand and policy requirements
