1) Define the constraints

- Tone (direct, friendly, premium, playful)
- Length target (words, bullets, sections)
- Must-keep terms and claims
2) Refine for clarity first
- Improve structure: headings, bullets, short paragraphs
- Remove redundancy
- Make assumptions explicit
3) Adjust tone second
- Ask for 2–3 variants if you’re unsure
- Ensure meaning and promises remain unchanged
4) Correctness pass
- Spelling and grammar
- Names, product terms, and links
- Any facts you provided (pricing, dates, constraints)
5) Final human review
- Read aloud (catches awkward phrasing fast)
- Check for meaning drift
- Confirm the copy matches your brand and policy requirements
